The results of Almaz-Antey Anti-Aircraft Defence Concern activities in 2008 are estimated as “positive in general”.
The board of Almaz-Antey Concern JSC estimate the results of its activities in 2008 as “positive in general” notwithstanding the influence of the world economic crisis upon enterprises of the Russian industry. The total proceeds from the main activities of the Almaz-Antey Concern JSC enterprises last year is equal to 88 billions 779.3 millions rubles, that is higher by 37.1 % than last year. The profit from sales of its basic production increased from 3 billions 711.6 millions rubles to 8 billions 61.3 millions rubles.
The total assets of the Concern enterprises increased in 2008 by 27.8 % to 126 billions 259.1 million rubles, and total net-wealth increased by 14.9 % to more, than 34 billions rubles.
The proceeds from the main activities of the management company of Almaz-Antey Concern JSC increased by 73.1 % in 2008 and reached 26 billions 132.7 millions rubles. The own capital share increased from 46.9 % to 51.7 %.
All the tasks of government defence work and contracts within military-technical cooperation, including experimental-design works for anti-aircraft missile and radio technical complexes were completely accomplished by the Concern in 2008. At that, the amount of works on government contracts increased by 21.9 % in comparison with 2007. Share of government defence work in the general amount of the Concern’s military purpose production is equal to 45.7 %, and export – 54.3 %.
While realizing federal target programs in 2008 the Concern and its contractors accomplished works within the contracts and agreements for the total sum of 3.5 billions rubles.
Last year activities aimed at corporative management system expansion were realized to execute the Russian Federation Presidential Decree of 05.02.2007 ¹ 136 that envisages an entry of 11 new enterprises into the Concern. Shares of 7 joint-stock companies have already been passed to the Concern. The process of privatization of 4 federal state unitary enterprises is being planned to be completed in 2009.
