SINTEZ - AR2
A new generation system for Belarus Republic

On October 14, 2003 the automated ATC system of a new generation - SINTEZ-AR2 integrated Area Terminal Automated ATC system was commissioned in Minsk (Belarus Republic).

The development was realized in short time period:

Start - January 2002
FAT - March 2003.

The main functions being realized:

• Multiradar processing of radar information;
• Flight data processing at the stages of current planning and control;
• Monitoring of current and forecasted air situation for conflict free flight and compliance with flight plans;
• Combined air situation and flight data displaying;
• Weather data processing and displaying;
• System monitoring and control;
• Information recording and playback;
• ATC controller training and Air Space structure optimization.

SINTEZ-AR2 Area Terminal Automated ATC system is the system with full-scale planning subsystem, providing the highest level of functional tasks realization especially on:

• Air situation forecasts based on flight data;
• Automatic monitoring of current and forecasted Air Situation based on flight data and radar information for conflict-free and detection:
  - medium-term conflicts detection (MTCD),
  - achievements of Separation Standards (SSA),
  - short term conflict alert (STCA),
  - minimum safe altitude warning (MSAW),
  - area penetration warning (APW).
• Automatic flight plan monitoring (MONA);
• Automatic interaction with adjacent
  automated ATC systems using OLDI standard.
